COPD remote monitoring

Dr Chris Carlin, Consultant Respiratory Physician at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and Paul McGuiness, CEO at StormID outline the development of tools and technologies to support COPD patients manage their conditions at home.

COPD affects approximately 120,000 people in Scotland and is the second most common reason for emergency hospital admissions. This project aims to support self-management, predict flare-ups or episodes of poor health, and help patients avoid unnecessary visits to hospital.
