It is important that the use of technologies (including innovation) is effective, safe, patient-focused and cost-effective across health and care in Scotland. Health Technology Assessment (HTA) provides a framework for determining the value of innovation, from the early planning of outcome measures, to the evaluation and appraisal of market-ready solutions. This workshop will provide an insight into the key components of HTA towards determining ‘value’.
